Karla is passionate about building connections between students, educators, and business professionals. She is passionate about creating spaces where students can explore different career options, learn about financial literacy, build confidence, and develop skills for success.

Karla graduated from Bethel University, majoring in Business, with an emphasis on Innovation & Entrepreneurship. After college, Karla joined BestPrep as the Executive Assistant, and after two years, she transitioned to her current role as the Sr. Mentoring Program Associate. Karla is passionate about being part of an organization that focuses on serving others and creating learning opportunities for others. She enjoys being part of BestPrep’s mission and seeing the impact these experiences can have on students.

In her free time, Karla enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Tian, family, and friends. Karla enjoys Latin social dances that allow her to connect with her culture as a Salvadoran-American (salsa, merengue, cumbia, y más). She also enjoys cooking and going on walks when the Minnesota weather permits.
