Bonnie has a passion for the field of education and especially for providing high-quality programming that supplements teachers’ curriculum. Bonnie taught mathematics for three years at Eveleth-Gilbert Junior High School. While there, she took part in SciMathMN, a two-week teacher academy, which gave her a vision for ways she could enhance teachers’ work as they create engaging learning opportunities for students.

Bonnie has carried out her vision at BestPrep. She started as a Program Associate and has since managed several BestPrep programs. In her current role she manages external relationships with schools, community organizations, and select corporate partners. She aims to create new partnerships with student-serving non-profits and introduces new volunteers and companies to BestPrep. Bonnie also represents BestPrep on several boards and committees including CVC-TC and the several Career and Technical Advisory Boards. Bonnie and her team plan BestPrep’s communications and the special events: the Educational Forum and the BestPrep Annual Luncheon.

In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys spending time with her husband Paul, traveling, amateur photography, volunteering with her church Calvary Chapel Twin Cities, and trying out restaurants featured on the Food Network’s popular Diners, Drive-ins and Dives – more than 48 so far!
