President and CEO

Jason Sanders joined BestPrep in 2025, bringing with him a career-long passion for connecting education, business, and community to create meaningful opportunities for young people. His leadership is grounded in building strong relationships, developing talented teams, and creating organizations that make a lasting difference.

Before joining BestPrep, Jason spent 23 years at Dodge Nature Center & Preschool, including 15 years as Executive Director. During his tenure, he led significant organizational growth, strengthened fundraising efforts, expanded community partnerships, and helped position the organization for long-term success.

Jason earned his degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and completed a Mini MBA in Nonprofit Management at the University of St. Thomas.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their growing family, including their grandchildren. He also enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, and officiating high school basketball.

Jason believes great leadership starts with people and is grounded in integrity, optimism, and a genuine commitment to serving others.
