Program Associate

Jennifer is a Program Associate for the eMentors program. She relishes the opportunity to be part of a mentoring program which provides high school students opportunities to connect with mentors in a professional field and broaden their understanding of future career opportunities. She strongly believes in the power of mentorship and connections for young people and how it can have a life long impact.

Jennifer has spent much of her career partnering with families and communities through her non-profit and community development work, from community organizing to program development. Recently, she started a social enterprise, Kitchen Unleashed, supporting underserved food entrepreneurs in the central Minnesota region. She has a bachelor’s in Behavioral Science from the University of the Philippines, and a master’s in Urban Planning Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Jennifer enjoys hiking and birdwatching with her husband. They have a goal of visiting all of Minnesota's State Parks.
