As a Mentoring Program Associate, Maila coordinates the connections between schools and local businesses to create valuable mentorship opportunities for students. She works closely with educators and corporate partners to ensure successful and impactful mentoring experiences.

Maila graduated from the University of California, Merced, with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. With a brief background in providing RTI (Response to Intervention) support to elementary students in the classroom, She developed a passion in fostering youth growth and development. Maila has since continued to pursue her passion through her work at BestPrep where she can support the youth in preparing for their futures.

Beyond her professional duties, Maila enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing video games, taking nature walks, and checking out fun events throughout the Twin Cities.
