Peaches’ mission is to help people feel connected, whether through storytelling, a moment, or a shared purpose, making her role as BestPrep’s Communications & Events Coordinator a natural fit. She manages two fundraising events while simultaneously elevating the organization’s image through social media, press releases, newsletters, print ads, and radio PSAs.

Peaches’ love for non-profit culture and the impact they have on the community carried through in her professional career, working at organizations such as Touchstone Mental Health and Project for Pride in Living in South Minneapolis before coming to BestPrep (in a full-time capacity). Intriguingly, Peaches has been involved with BestPrep since she was in high school! First introduced by the eMentors program in her AVID class, she then attended the week-long Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) summer camp, returned the following year as the MBV Communications Specialist, and volunteered as a dorm monitor and BestPrep intern during her undergrad at Augsburg University.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with her daughter, friends, and family. She loves traveling and exploring new places, with Australia, Thailand, and Mexico among her favorite destinations. Closer to home, she enjoys being a tourist in her own city, discovering local events, attractions, restaurants, and hidden gems.
