Janae is an event planner and relationship builder at heart. She loves getting people in the same room to network and learn from one another. That’s the main goal, always, and she’s willing to handle the logistics behind the scenes to make that all happen. She was raised in South Dakota and moved to Minneapolis for her undergraduate degree. After graduation she started working for BestPrep, from 2010-2014. She then took a detour to work at a financial literacy organization in Denver, Colorado, moved back to the Twin Cities to work for the University of Minnesota Foundation and to start graduate school, and, as of 2019, is excited to be back at BestPrep. She now lives in Asheville, NC full time, but comes back each summer for camp.

In her free time, she spends her time making things out of clay, reading, hiking, finding new restaurants to try and going to concerts.
