Friends of BestPrep raised more than $68,000 on February 9th at Radisson Blu Mall of America during the annual Birdies for BestPrep gala. Guests enjoyed a variety of food, beverages, and activities, including mini golf and a silent auction!
The highlight of the evening’s events was introducing Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) and hearing from student alum and Robbinsdale Cooper High School senior, Khadra Othman, about her experience at MBV and how it has improved her life. Through Birdies for BestPrep, we raised funds that will go directly toward MBV and ensuring that more students get the chance to gain leadership, financial literacy, and business skills that will prepare them for their futures.
Wealth Enhancement Group was honored with the 2019 Humanitarian of the Year Award for its decade-long commitment to BestPrep in providing financial education to Minnesota youth.
