The SIFMA Foundation, in partnership with BestPrep, hosts an annual national essay competition that is open to any student who participates in The Stock Market Game™. This fall, Rishi, a student from Wayzata High School, was recognized for placing 7th nationally for his excellent essay about his experience learning to invest.
Rishi had this to say about his experience:
“…being in the Stock Market Game competition felt like a nine-week race for me. Two big moments of that race demonstrated to me that not every race goes according to plan, and showed that perseverance will lead to success. Everything combined taught me that building a stable, diversified portfolio will help me handle the rough patches on the track, and that investing is not an easy race, but with the right amount of preparation, I can win the financial race in my future.”
BestPrep is proud to recognize both Rishi as well as his advisor, David Chvojicek, who was recently honored with an “Educator of Excellence” award at the BestPrep Annual Luncheon.
