BestPrep is partnering with the Greater Twin Cities United Way Career Academies. Students enrolled in the Career Academies earn high school diplomas while earning post-secondary credits and participating in real-world learning experiences to build lasting careers.
This hands-on and experiential approach is a perfect alignment with BestPrep programs. When Career Academies launched last year, BestPrep provided speakers for Bloomington students. This year, students have also been actively participating in eMentors and Classroom Plus with volunteer support from local companies. While the partnership is in the initial stages, there is much potential for growth. BestPrep is looking to schedule Financial Matters speakers and promote Minnesota Business Venture to Career Academy students to provide financial literacy and business skills.
