Cloud Coach Wraps up for the 2023-2024 School Year

The collaboration between General Mills and the entire 9th grade at North High School has concluded. On May 9th, students had the incredible opportunity to visit the General Mills headquarters for the Cloud Summit. During the summit, the students met their mentors and participated in a tour of the General Mills facilities offering them a firsthand look at the inner workings of a major corporation. They also had the opportunity to hear from a career panel where professionals from various fields shared insights and advice on career paths and job opportunities. The event concluded on a high note as every student received a swag bag filled with goodies courtesy of General Mills.

We are grateful to the Minnesota Twins for their generous donation of tickets which incentivized students to write their weekly messages. This initiative has proven to be incredibly successful at St. Paul Central, St. Paul Highland, and Minneapolis North High School.

We also want to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the volunteers from 3M, Accenture, Allianz, Best Buy, Cargill, Deloitte, Ecolab, General Milles, Securian, Thomson Reuters, Thrivent, Travelers, U.S. Bank, and Xcel Energy. Your commitment to mentoring and guiding students through the Cloud Coach program is invaluable, and we couldn’t do it without you. If you work at one of these companies and would like to volunteer with Cloud Coach, please reach out to your company coordinator or contact our Program Manager, Brooke Nelson, at bnelson@bestprep.org. Your support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of Minneapolis and St. Paul youth.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to empowering the next generation!
