Following her keynote address, “Educational is the Key to Economic Empowerment”, Ken Powell, CEO of General Mills, will join Ms. Kidjo on stage for a dialogue on educational issues. The Forum will conclude with a performance by Ms. Kidjo accompanied by the Macalester College Student African Ensemble conducted by Sowah Mensah. WCCO news anchor Jason DeRusha will emcee the evening.
The evening program will recognize BestPrep’s four founding members 3M, Cargill, Ecolab and General Mills for providing 40 years of financial and volunteer support.
