On July 18, BestPrep will be honored as the recipient of the 2016 GEN Children’s Charity golf tournament! Hosted biennially by GEN Financial Advisors, this fundraising event brings awareness and resources to local organizations that focus on Minnesota’s children in need.
The GEN Children’s golf tournament has previously raised funds for organizations such as Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Make-A-Wish, College Possible, and the Page Education Foundation. We are proud and excited to be GEN’s selected organization for 2016!
Proceeds from the tournament will be used to provide low-income high school students the opportunity to attend our Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) summer camp at no cost. Last year, 39% of participants came from low-income backgrounds, making this an incredible opportunity for the students we serve.
The tournament is Monday, July 18 at the Minneapolis Golf Club. Activities will include lunch and dinner, golfing, a silent auction, wall of wine, and more. We’d love to see you there!
