Guests raised $23,000 during the fund appeal at the 2017 Birdies for BestPrep.
The Radisson Blu Mall of America was abuzz with activity on February 11 as guests enjoyed mini golf, photo booth pictures, caricature drawings, bidding on silent auction items, wall of wine selections, and so much more!
The annual event raised nearly $60,000 to support BestPrep’s business, career, and financial literacy programs. The highlight of the night happened during the evening program’s fund appeal, which asked guests to support low-income youth to attend Minnesota Business Venture. More than 75 donors stepped up to raise $23,000 for the program – a 35% increase over last year!
Since the event, additional auction items have been received and BestPrep is holding a secondary online auction with reduced starting bids, including many of our most popular Caribbean resort packages! TCF CEO Craig Dahl accepts the Humanitarian Award
The celebrations continued through the night as TCF was honored with the 2017 Humanitarian of the Year Award for their commitment to providing financial and volunteer support to empower Minnesota youth. The award was presented to Craig Dahl, CEO of TCF. Photos of the event are posted on Facebook.
