Congratulations to the 2020 winning teams!
While we aren’t able to gather for our Awards Ceremony, our winning Stock Market Game students, teachers, and schools are still deserving of celebration!
In this special Allianz Challenge session of SMG, volunteers from Allianz Life were matched with a class to provide an in-person presentation to students and guidance via email. Thanks to this partnership, the company has also provided funding to SMG for 10 years.
When asked what their favorite part of SMG was, Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion winning student said, “The fact that it was very realistic and felt like you were actually investing.”
Stillwater Area High School winning teacher, Debbie Drommerhausen, shared, “Students sign up for my course because of the game and then they realize their parents love it also! The SMG gives students an insight into the ‘real’ financial world.”
A special congratulatory message from Walter White, Allianz Life President & CEO
“We are happy to honor the winners. You should be proud of what you learned and that you used that knowledge to rise to the top of the rankings. Financial literacy skills are essential for future success. What you have learned about researching stocks, companies, and the stock market through The Stock Market Game is a great start. Participating in the Stock Market Game is an excellent, low-risk way to gain an early understanding of important investment strategies and ideas. Congratulations on your achievement!”
