While next summer may seem far away, BestPrep is excited to announce the dates for our 2020 Technology Integration Workshop (TIW)! Once again, the University of St. Thomas’ Opus College of Business in downtown Minneapolis will serve as our host.
TIW will be held Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30, 2020.
The four days will be filled with innovative and advanced features that are desired in professional development, including:
Keynote and breakout sessions that inspire, motivate, and educate. Session topics highlight tech tools, digital classroom collaboration, assessment strategies, career skills, coding, Google Classroom and add-ons, assessments, and more.
Time to apply the new knowledge and the information learned by updating a unit plan of their choice
A half-day job shadow spent one afternoon with a local business volunteer at their workplace. Volunteers provide insight and share and showcase the skills employers are looking for and help draw parallels between class curriculum and students’ careers. Educators can them help students develop these critical skills.
CEUs are earned by all who attend TIW; up to 28 CEU credits can be earned.
Discounted registration fees for groups, making TIW especially valuable for newly formed teams, teachers getting new or updated technology, or teachers changing grades or subject areas.
