This spring is huge for BestPrep!
On the afternoons of March 2 and March 3, fifty volunteer speakers are needed to go into College Possible classrooms across the metro to speak with students about Credit Matters using our new, updated materials.
On April 12 and April 19 from 9:35am-10:20am, volunteer speakers are needed to visit 20 classes of seniors at Patrick Henry High School to talk with students about budgeting and credit. And on April 6 and May 25, speakers will visit all of sophomore and senior classrooms at Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope to speak with students on these topics.
For these three big events, BestPrep is looking for over 100 volunteers! This would be a great way to engage a group of employees within your organization, or reengage with BestPrep if you haven’t volunteered yet this year. Please don’t wait for us to reach out to you – contact Samantha Funk if you might be interested in any of these opportunities.
The Financial Matters Spring Volunteer Engagement Event featuring Doug Lennick of think2perform and Steve Lear of Affiance Financial will take place 11:30 am – 1:00 pm on March 2nd at Affinity Plus in Roseville. Consider making an afternoon out of it and joining us for the event, and then visit a classroom to speak with College Possible students! Register online for this event.
We hope to see you this spring!
