Fall often marks the beginning of company workplace giving campaigns. Did you know that most campaigns will allow you to designate your gift to a charitable organization like BestPrep? If your organization partners with United Way for workplace giving, this option is referred to as United Way’s Donor Choice. Please read the instructions below to designate your gift to BestPrep. If your employer does not offer United Way or a similar workplace giving campaign, or you would simply prefer to make a donation directly, you can make a gift to BestPrep on our website.
Keep in mind that many employers also have workplace giving programs that match employees’ donations and/or provide contributions to nonprofit organizations where employees volunteer or serve in a leadership role.
BestPrep is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and does not receive federal funding. The donations we receive from companies, foundations, and individuals allow us to continue offering our business, financial literacy, and career development programs at low or no cost to students, teachers, and schools. Thank you for your support.
Designate Your United Way Workplace Giving to BestPrep
Two simple steps:
- On the United Way pledge form, simply check the box that asks if you want to designate all or a portion of your gift to a specific agency. Write in BestPrep, Brooklyn Park, MN and the amount. Some corporate campaigns may require that you request a separate “designation card” from your campaign chair to select BestPrep as the recipient of your contribution. In that case, you may need to enter BestPrep’s tax ID number, which is 41-1265355.
- Notify BestPrep: Email Shana with the amount of your gift. Your notification enables BestPrep to reconcile periodic receipts from United Way. Please note that an acknowledge letter will be sent when the donation has been received by BestPrep.
