Adam Cohen, UnitedHealth Group
The big day has finally come! All the 2016 SJU Minnesota Business Venture students have arrived. After saying goodbye to mom and unpacking into their new home for the week, the students gathers in the auditorium to hear Adam Cohen from United Health Group speak about living in the present, and being happy with your situation. He shared lots of great ideas and advice that got the camp off to a great start!
Next the students broke into their company’s for the first time to start meeting each other and discuss the big week ahead of them.
After the students met their new friends, they went down to the auditorium for a Shareholder Address with Anton Vincent from General Mills who spoke about marketing. He shared a lot of facts and statistics that had the students interacting and asking questions.
We ended are first day with “Junk Night”. Junk Night was a contest filled with funny skits put together by our students and judged by our RBL’s. And in the end company D won the contest and was rewarded with a “bag of swag”. Overall a very successful first day at MBV!
