Donzell Dixon will be the opening speaker at St. Cloud State University
Donzell Dixson, a motivational speaker, mentor, and engineer at Target Corporation, will be kicking off the first week of Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) as the new opening speaker. Donzell will energize and encourage students to take advantage of every opportunity, find their purpose, and persevere through adversity. This will be Donzell’s first time speaking with students at MBV, but not his first time in front of an audience. As a motivational speaker, he hopes to inspire others to pursue their passion.
Presentations like Donzell’s are standard at MBV, where students get to hear from a variety of keynote speakers on topics like networking and developing their personal brand, as well as marketing, operations, budgeting, and finances.

Students use the information they’re learning to develop a business plan with a group of their peers.
Share this article with students who could benefit from an experience like this and encourage them to register. Students who are unable to pay the registration costs are encouraged to still apply as scholarship dollars are available. Free transportation is also provided to and from camp from the metro area.
There are two Minnesota Business Venture sessions to choose from:
Week 1: July 9 – July 14, 2017 at St. Cloud State University
Week 2: July 23 – July 28, 2017 at St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN
