BestPrep Hits a Homerun with the Minnesota Twins

For more than twenty-five years, the Minnesota Twins have partnered with BestPrep to prepare students to be career focused and financially capable. Presentations from President Dave St. Peter, Hall of Famers Dave Winfeld and Tony Oliva at BestPrep’s Annual Luncheon to Tommy Watkins speaking at BestPrep’s Cloud Coach and Minnesota Business Venture, students and teachers have been provided with unique educational opportunities.

Recently, students from Rogers, Kimball and Spring Lake Park High Schools have participated with Twins volunteers in BestPrep’s eMentors program.

Last Spring, the Twins and Thrivent launched their At Bat for Impact Program and BestPrep was honored with an on-field presentation prior to the game.

At Bat for Impact is a partnership between the Minnesota Twins and Thrivent to recognize the meaningful work of nonprofits in the Twin Cities area. Sixteen nonprofits were recognized at last year’s Twins games and received a contribution for their remarkable work.

Kristin Rortvedt, Sr. Director of Community Engagement for the Minnesota Twins, spoke further about this initiative, stating, “As a part of the season-long theme of “Active Minds and Active Bodies”, BestPrep’s work to creatively connect to young people through schools was celebrated. We honored their efforts to inspire a love of learning among youth in Twins Territory. It’s a privilege to leverage our platform to help amplify the great work being done by BestPrep.”

Here’s to the Minnesota Twins covering all the bases in making an impact for Minnesota youth!
