Allstate Agents Present Grant to BestPrep CEO
For more than 20 years, Allstate and the Allstate Foundation have partnered with BestPrep to help students build character, confidence, and optimism, achieve academic success, and gain leadership skills. Through BestPrep’s summer business and career development camp Minnesota Business Venture and school year program eMentors, students have the opportunity to learn firsthand from business volunteers who are eager to educate tomorrow’s workforce. Recent studies have demonstrated that students who develop strong social and emotional skills perform better in school and find higher degrees of success in the workplace.
The Allstate Foundation recently provided an $80,000 grant to support BestPrep’s youth empowerment programs. Both Minnesota Business Venture and eMentors allow students to look into their potential futures by working directly with business volunteers. In addition, more than 15 Allstate agents work directly with BestPrep’s Financial Matters program by conducting classroom presentations emphasizing the economic and social impact of safe driving decisions.
BestPrep salutes Allstate for its commitment to Minnesota youth!
