BestPrep has a long history of supporting personal finance curriculum and classes. With the new law requiring all students to take a personal finance course for graduation going into effect one year from now, we continue to support and provide resources for all schools statewide.
BestPrep programs enrich classrooms in many ways. Financial Matters provides, at no cost, knowledgeable financial industry experts who can speak on financial literacy topics including but not limited to money and values, budgeting, credit, investing, tax and insurance. Speakers can easily be arranged to come to your class by submitting a request online.
Working in teams, Stock Market Game students manage a virtual portfolio while also building fundamental knowledge of the stock market and global economy. Students learn about the power and long-term value of investing, as well as the risks associated with it. This program is offered free of charge and can be combined with Financial Matters to create an even more powerful learning experience. Check out The Stock Market Game website to learn more.
eMentors for Financial Literacy provides one-on-one mentorships for classrooms of high school students. These student-mentor pairs exchange 8 weekly messages with a caring adult mentor who provides suggestions for developing good money habits. Let Kim Graff know if this interests you.
We look forward to supporting your new and existing classes.
