BestPrep is excited to announce that our eMentors program has been awarded “Dedicated Partner” status by MENTOR Minnesota, one of the nation’s most influential organizations in youth mentoring! In order to be labeled as a MENTOR Dedicated Partner, BestPrep committed to a rigorous examination of eMentors’ official policies and processes, highlighting key program strengths, as well as areas for improvement. BestPrep staff met with MENTOR to determine specific ways that eMentors, already the largest email mentoring program in the country, can continue to grow and evolve.
As a result of this evaluation, BestPrep determined a few additional ways to improve the program, including a brand-new program logic model, improvements to our post-program student and mentor surveys, and more strategies to show our appreciation for mentors.
BestPrep staff continue to meet regularly to discuss MENTOR’s suggestions and make plans for how to best implement them. By taking this journey with MENTOR, BestPrep reaffirms its commitment to serious and sustained self-reflection and growth.
