2015 Educational Forum A Success!

Going into the November 10 BestPrep Educational Forum, expectations were high for an exciting event. How could they not be with two-time Grammy award winner Angelique Kidjo speaking and performing as well as dialoguing with Ken Powell, the CEO of General Mills on key educational issues. Adding in an award-winning speech from Nora Steinmetz, Sophomore at Stillwater High School and an awards presentation to BestPrep’s founding companies: 3M, Cargill, Ecolab and General Mills and all expectations were exceeded.

Jason DeRusha and served as a kickoff to BestPrep’s year-long 40th anniversary celebration. More than 20 corporations and foundations sponsored the event led by Platinum Sponsors 3M and EY.

The evening concluded in a grand fashion with Angelique Kidjo performing and being backed up by the Macalester College student ensemble. As the evening ended, guests were already inquiring about the next Educational Forum set for the fall of 2017. Stay tuned for the next surprise national/international speaker.
