BestPrep’s new board chair, Marc Olson, VP Policy & Producer Administration for Allianz Life of North America, could not be more qualified to lead the 48-year-old nonprofit.
Marc‘s introduction to BestPrep came in 1997 when BestPrep staff asked him to speak at Hopkins High School. Upon learning more about BestPrep, he volunteered to be a Resident Business Leader at BestPrep’s Minnesota Business Venture program and the rest is history.
Along the way his volunteerism has included BestPrep’s eMentors, Cloud Coach, Stock Market Game, Mock Interviews and Educational Forum Essay Judge. He has provided his expertise on the Finance & Audit Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Stakeholder Sustainability Committee and Executive Committee. He has served as Board Treasurer, Board Vice Chair and now Chair of BestPrep. BestPrep salutes Marc Olson for his 25 years of helping students be career focused and financially capable.
