What a day it was!
Once all the student staff had arrived and unpacked in their dorms, we all met in Centennial Hall and had an amazing lunch – Jimmy Johns! We then created some fun ice-breaker games! We all got to know each other very well; like where we are from, what we like to do, interesting facts about ourselves, etc. One of the last ice-breaker we did was a questionnaire that had defined how we view ourselves. This had to do with how we communicate, work with others, and how we handle certain situations. We got categorized into groups and talked about it among our peers. Surprisingly, the group everyone was assigned to was spot on! It distinctively explained in detail our exact behavior! We were then split into groups and had one-on-one time with our advisors to help us prepare for the next day. They made us really excited for the next day when our student campers would arrive! Later that evening we went to Green Mill and ate some more delicious food. The group headed back to campus to practice business plan presentations – a great way for the CEO’s and RBL’s to practice. Our student campers will soon know what we are talking about…
Now it’s time to wind down and get some rest for tomorrow morning. It’s going to be a great week!
