It’s Day 4 at Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) and today was all about Financial Freedom — a theme that encourages campers to think big, plan smart, and take ownership of their financial futures. With their final presentations just around the corner, the energy was high and the focus was sharp. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Piper Sandler Companies for their continued support in helping bring this day to life!
The day began with a delicious breakfast and short company meeting, followed by this week’s fourth keynote, Echo Huang! Her presentation focused on achieving financial independence and practical money saving strategies, specifically for students. She prompted people to set their money goals and spoke about the consequences of making mistakes when saving money. Each camper walked away not only inspired — but with a copy of her Amazon best-seller, Own Your Future.
Following the inspiring keynote, students participated in breakout sessions about philanthropy, learning about philanthropic giving and how to generate profit from their company’s product or service.
After lunch, campers went back to their company meetings and wrote thank-you letters to the sponsors who made the summer business camp possible for them. They also took part in financial literacy sessions covering essential topics like investing, budgeting, credit, paying for college, and identity theft.
As Day 4 wraps up, companies gather for one last meeting to refine their presentations. Tomorrow is the big day — don’t miss the innovative ideas our campers will be presenting!
