From August 1-4, 2022, 57 educators representing more than 5,300 Minnesota students joined us for an energizing, refreshing and reflective professional development experience – the Technology Integration Workshop. Teachers participated in a variety of keynote and breakout sessions, which included topics such as, Using Technology for Social Emotional Learning, Who Says Learning Can’t Be Fun? Gamification & Gamified Learning in the K-12 Classroom, Promoting Digital Equity Through Digital Learning Tools and Activities, and The Power of Choice: Personalized Project-Based Learning Through Student Choice.
In addition, every participant was paired with a Business Partner and had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at the corporate site, learning firsthand the skills that are being required for successful employees.
Each participant completed a lesson plan, which is now made available online at BestPrep’s Lesson Library.
