From August 1-4, 2022, 57 educators representing more than 5,300 Minnesota students joined us for an energizing, refreshing and reflective professional development experience – the Technology Integration Workshop.  Teachers participated in a variety of keynote and breakout sessions, which included topics such as, Using Technology for Social Emotional LearningWho Says Learning Can’t Be Fun? Gamification & Gamified Learning in the K-12 ClassroomPromoting Digital Equity Through Digital Learning Tools and Activities, and The Power of Choice: Personalized Project-Based Learning Through Student Choice.

In addition, every participant was paired with a Business Partner and had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at the corporate site, learning firsthand the skills that are being required for successful employees.

Each participant completed a lesson plan, which is now made available online at BestPrep’s Lesson Library.

After attending, May Yang from Osseo High School said, “Everything about the Workshop was fantastic–pacing, depth of information, guest speakers, Partners, communication leading up to the Workshop, the organization of the TIW website, helpful and friendly staff, facility, food, prizes, etc.”
