The Technology Integration Workshop 2020 will be digital!

We’re proud to announce that the Technology Integration Workshop (TIW) will be exclusively digital! TIW is a unique three-day virtual professional development opportunity for K-12 educators that provides the resources teachers need to go into the new school year feeling confident to effectively teach their students. The program will take place Monday, July 27 – Wednesday, July 29.

This workshop will provide time for educators to reflect on their experience transitioning to distance learning and connect with other educators across Minnesota. TIW will offer a variety of breakout sessions featuring new and emerging technologies and best practices on topics including coding, digital collaborations and accessibility, and video creation. The program will also offer a virtual job shadow experience from leading Twin Cities business volunteers, allowing educators to better understand the workplace in action and prepare their students for future careers. With individualized coaching, each participant will leave the workshop with an updated unit plan that will be ready for the upcoming school year.

TIW registration is open now for all Minnesota educators. Enrollment is discounted at $150 for one educator or $100 each for two or more educators attending from the same school or district. The program will take place from Monday, July 27 – Wednesday, July 29, with an optional workday and office hours on Thursday, July 30.

We are looking for volunteers to host a virtual job shadow for an educator as a Business Partner or serve as a session presenter during the workshop. Volunteering is a great way to connect with others and share your expertise to prepare the next generation of workers. Sign up to volunteer today!
