BestPrep wrapped up its 38th fiscal year on August 31st having raised a record $1.38 million for our educational programs. For the third consecutive year, our top donors were Allianz Life, The Allstate Foundation, and the Wells Fargo Foundation/Wells Fargo Advisors. The common thread between these three organizations is their deep commitment to improving the financial literacy of Minnesota students.
Senior Vice President and Community Affairs Manager Carolyn Roby shared why Wells Fargo believes in BestPrep and continues to be a strong supporter:
“I have been impressed time and time again with the way BestPrep engages students and teachers in the thoughtful experiential programs they deliver. Minnesota is so fortunate to have their commitment and dedication to students and educators by offering programs that help us all manage our economic responsibilities and opportunities more wisely.”
In addition to offering tremendous financial support, each company goes above and beyond in their commitment to BestPrep by providing a strong base of volunteers. These individuals share their time and talent in programs including eMentors, Financial Matters, The Stock Market Game and Minnesota Business Venture. All three companies also provide invaluable leadership with executives serving on BestPrep’s Board of Directors.
Hats off to Allianz Life, The Allstate Foundation, and the Wells Fargo Foundation/Wells Fargo Advisors for their support of BestPrep and the students of Minnesota!
