If you are interested in making a direct impact on the lives of students, sign up as a volunteer classroom speaker through BestPrep. Dedicating just an hour of your time, you can share what it’s like to work in your career field, how to develop soft skills, and teach financial literacy concepts.
The Classroom Plus and Financial Matters programs are seeking new volunteers interested in preparing students with business, career, and financial literacy skills. These programs allow students to learn from business professionals with real world knowledge, helping students connect what they are learning in the classroom today with their future lives and careers.
When you sign up, you will be added to BestPrep’s volunteer list to be notified of volunteer opportunities convenient to your home or office. Classroom Plus presentations focus career exploration and building job skills. Financial Matters presentations focus on financial literacy topics.
Volunteers interested in becoming a classroom speaker can register to be a Classroom Plus speaker or a Financial Matters speaker. New volunteers take part in a training call with a BestPrep staff member to go over information and answer any questions. There is a lot of flexibility with these opportunities and volunteers are welcome to pick and choose what they would like to participate in throughout the year. We look forward to working with you!
